This Sunday, May 1, 2011 is the Pacific Coast Dream Machines event at the Half Moon Bay Airport. I love this event and it benefits the Coastside Adult Day Health Center which is great for our community. People come from all around to show their cars, trucks, airplanes, dragsters, monster trucks, motorcycles, steam engines, historic planes, you name it. Lots and lots of locals, some are my friends, enter their vehicles to show. This year the show features the world’s largest motorcycle and a flying wing. For the first year in 11 years, I am going solo to this event. I’ll be meeting some great friends there and attending a fun bbq afterwards so I won’t really be alone. This was one of the main yearly events my former husband and I attended together and he sometimes showed his truck. For the last 6 years we went with our little boy. So, it’s bittersweet. This year I am going to eat a huge bag of kettle corn all by myself! Hope to see you there, I know it will be fun. JOY!
